Arlo Gambell is the company founder and principal consultant.


Mr. Gambell has worked in the field of aviation meteorology 25+ years, and is certified by the American Meteorology Society as a Certified Consulting Meteorologist (CCM), one of fewer than 500 in the country and one of only a dozen or so specializing in aviation weather.


Mr. Gambell's experience includes service as a Weather Officer in the USAF Air Weather Service  and positions with the National Weather Service.  He founded and served as Director of the aviation weather department for Weather Services International (WSI) Corporation in Andover, MA, and was responsible for developing and marketing a wide variety of leadin-edge aviation weather briefing systems and services.  These systems and services are currently in use in most major and regional U.S. Airlines, and throughout the general aviation community.


Mr. Gambell is past president of the National Council of Industrial Meteorologists, and past president of the American Meteorological Society, Chicago chapter.


He is an active pilot holding a Commercial license with Instrument, Multi-Engine, CFIA, CFII, Advanced Ground Instructor and Instrument Ground Instructor ratings.


Mr. Gambell has conducted numerous airline and Part 135 dispatcher training courses and is an annual presenter at EAA Oshkosh.  He has served as an expert witness in a number of aircraft accident cases.
